Catarinth is a solo progressive metal project based in Las Vegas, Nevada. The name is a convergence of the words “catacomb” and “labyrinth” hinting at the auditory exploration the songs hope to inspire. While the compositions present intricate soundscapes inviting repeated listens to get lost in, they also embrace powerful melodic themes and driving rhythms that guide the listener through the twists and turns. Built upon compounded simplicity, each song offers distinct, simple paths for the ear to pursue that build upon one another, culminating in a complex sonic structure.
